Video: See How This Trucker Turned the Tables On an Illinois State Trooper During a Traffic Stop

Trucker honks horn at Illinois State Trooper for speeding, talking on cell phone. Trooper pulls truck over for honking.

Truck driver Brian Miner was disturbed when an Illinois State Trooper passed him while talking on a cell phone and driving in slick conditions.

Miner honked his horn to voice his displeasure. And then things got interesting.

Miner was pulled over by the trooper for honking his horn and what followed might be one of the most satisfying exchanges with a police officer ever recorded. Miner takes the trooper to task for speeding, driving too fast for conditions and talking on a cell phone while driving.

"So you honked at me because you believed I was speeding?" the trooper asks.

"Because you were driving recklessly," Miner responds. "Because you were speeding now, it's got wet roads and you were on your cell phone."

"You weren't going 70," Miner continues. "You were going well above 70."

"You don't know, do you have a radar in here?" the trooper responds.

To date, the video, uploaded to YouTube on June 29, has more than 120,000 views.

In the end, the trooper decides not to give Miner a ticket for honking and instead completes a safety inspection of the truck, which Miner passes.  The exchange ends on friendlier terms.

"I understand you using the horn...saw me speeding. I honestly wasn't paying attention to my speed," the trooper said. "Either way you were just trying to help me out and help me drive safely."

"We're all out here sharing the same road," Miner said.
