Shows Canceled at Des Plaines Theatre Due to Roof Collapse

A piece of the ceiling fell on Feb. 3, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Shows scheduled for this weekend at the Des Plaines Theatre have been canceled due to a roof collapse that occurred earlier this month, the Chicago Tribune reports.

A 15 by 15 piece of the ceiling fell on Feb. 3. While nobody was hurt, the issue has further set back the theatre's deadline for completing safety code requirements put in place by the fire marshall and the city, the Tribune reports.
