Monday Park Playbook: You Can Do Magic!

Pick a card, any card! It's all about sleight-of-small-hands, on Tuesday at our Magic Class for children 5-12 years old. Your little Copperfield will learn classic illusions such as tricks with coins, cards, and ropes, from a professional magician, in this interactive class. Children build self-confidence and develop good communication skills by performing for their classmates. And, best of all, they get to take home their entire bag of tricks, so they can keep practicing and perform for you at home. Abracadabra!

On Wednesday, meet us at Mohawk Park, 515 Lyman Avenue, for our final Park It! Patrol event of the season. In addition to our huge bag of fun, we have a special guest. Professional magician, Gary Kantor, will be in the park doing close-up magic and slight of hand. Hang on to you hat and your spare change, because Gary will make objects disappear (and reappear) right in front of your eyes. You won’t want to miss that or any of our regular Park It! Patrol fun such as beach ball volleyball, badminton, croquet, frisbee golf, bags, relay races, games, and crafts. We start at 6:30 and play until 8:00pm. And, best of all, all of these activities are free.

And, that’s not all…
