Teen Wise, Sheri Gazitt, Neighbor

Sheri Gazitt has had a focus on helping kids and parents since she graduated from high school.  She received a BA in Psychology from Rice University (Houston, TX) and a MA in Counseling Psychology from Houston Baptist University (Houston, TX).  She has worked in Neurology and Neuropsychology departments on research projects dealing with pediatric head injury outcomes, ADHD, Tourette's, Neurofibromatosis, child abuse, learning differences, and more.  As the GoGirlGo! Seattle Director for the Women's Sports Foundation, she continued helping kids and families with a focus on exercise and group discussions about adolescent issues.  She brought this curriculum to over 3,000 girls and created many partnerships in the community with Seattle Storm, Boys & Girls Clubs, Teen Centers, Community Centers, and others.  Now, she has opened her own practice, Teen Wise.

Sheri is the mom of three girls; enjoys creative endeavors such as beading, scrapbooking, and other multi-medium projects; loves reading; and likes to keep up on pop culture.
