Currently obsessed with Mendelssohn, Merlot and the Minnesota Twins, I have enjoyed writing since I learned my ABCs. A parallel passion for music (they are both artistic endeavors, after all), led me to Columbia College Chicago and a BA in May 2010. I spent the majority of my twenties floating around upon the salty brine as a nuclear reactor operator on an aircraft carrier. In that time, I was fortunate enough to visit some of the globe's more exotic locales, namely the gaunt, grey ghettos of Busan, South Korea and the Alcatraz of the Persian Gulf: Bahrain. I spent my learnin' years on the wind-swept prairies of North Dakota, where I was encouraged to hunt antelope with a bow & arrow and to mind my Ps & Qs.
