Cause of Death of Man Found in Parked Car Weeks Away

The medical examiner’s office is completing toxicology studies on a Des Plaines man found in a hotel parking lot.

It will be several weeks before it is known what caused the death of a man found in the back seat of a vehicle parked in a hotel parking lot, 1450 Touhy Ave., on Saturday morning. The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office completed an autopsy on Wesley Jaworski, 47, of Des Plaines, on Sunday. The cause and manner of death are pending the results of toxicology studies, which typically take three to six weeks, a representative for the medical examiner’s office said on Monday. Des Plaines Police Commander Nick Treantafeles said there was not any new information available about the incident at this time. Des Plaines Man Robs Liquor Store, Threatens Witnesses

Police have had contact with the man arrested in the past.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Des Plaines Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction. A Des Plaines man has been arrested in connection with a burglary that took place at Day & Night Liquors, 1185 S. Elmhurst Road, at approximately 2 a.m. on June 3, police stated last week. Nikko G. Principato, 19, was charged with burglary and two counts of intimidation after two witnesses observed Principato carrying out liquor and cigarettes from the store, according to the report. Woman Found Dead in Front of Police Station

Police: No foul play suspected.

A woman was discovered on the sidewalk in front of the Des Plaines police station by a passer-by Tuesday morning, TribLocal reported. Donna Cinelli, 49, of Des Plaines, was pronounced dead at the scene, and police stated no foul play was suspected. Des Plaines Police stated they believe Cinelli had health problems. Commander Nick Treantafeles said police do not know how Cinelli ended up on the sidewalk, nor do they know how long she was lying there before she was found. “We’re not going to investigate this case because there was nothing suspicious or unusual about it,” Treantafeles said.
