Poll Results: Readers Voted for a New Business to Move Next to the Library
More than half voted for the clear winner.
A few weeks ago we asked readers what type of business they would like to see move into the empty retail space at 1473 Ellinwood Ave., which is next to the Des Plaines library. As of May 1, 103 readers voted in the poll between a café, coffee shop, copy/shipping store and juice bar. The winner, with 61 votes, 59 percent of the total, was a coffee shop.
