Photos: Countryside Saloon Celebrates Grand (Re) Opening

The Des Plaines staple hosted a party over the weekend for a packed house.

Countryside Saloon recently underwent renovations to include additional seating and a private party room to accommodate up to 80 people. Owners Cornell and Janet Bar and Weslie and Joe Bellini hosted a party Saturday to a full house complete with appetizers and live band, The Contractors.  Countryside will have regular entertainment throughout December with no cover charge. Des Plaines bar lets patrons chill out in friendly setting; it sometimes features live bands, too.

Beers, beanbags and bonhomie are some of the things you’ll find at Excueses Bar & Billiards in Des Plaines. It’s a neighborhood watering hole, but you needn’t be a townie to enjoy the setting.
