In a restructuring of Leona’s, three suburban locations including Des Plaines will close, Crain’s Chicago Business reported. The company will focus on more urban areas where they get more delivery business, according to the report by Crain’s Chicago Business. Roland Ader, general manager of the Leona’s restaurant at 1504 Miner St. in Des Plaines, said the deal was not finalized, and it had not been determined yet if or when the restaurant would close. “It depends, a couple months, or maybe a year,” Ader said. Messages left at Leona’s corporate office for comment were not returned at publication time.
