Last Chance: Sign up for Spring Session at Lattof YMCA

The second spring session of classes and activities begins at Latoff YMCA next week.

The second spring session of classes and activities begins at Lattof YMCA next week. This week is your last chance to sign up for a wide variety of programs from children and adults, including dodge ball, floor hockey, handball, martial arts, pilates, racquetball, rock climbing, swimming, tennis, water polo and yoga. There are programs for children ages two to five, six to eight, nine to 12 and for adults. The Spring II session runs for eight weeks, from April 15 to June 9. Last Chance: Get Tickets for Live Music and Comedy this Week

Entertainment options abound in Des Plaines this week; get your tickets before it’s too late.

The Des Plaines Theatre and Rivers Casino have plenty of entertainment choices this week including live music and stand-up comedy. Stand-up comedian James Fritz will headline a show at Des Plaines Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on April 7. The show is part of an ongoing Chicago comedy series at the theater, and will also include performances by Kenny DeForest and Timothy Brochu. Tickets are available online for $10, and will be $12 at the door. Earlier: Last chance to sign up for Park District classes. Rivers Casino will host a number of music acts this week including Wedding Banned on April 4, Hairbangers Ball on April 5 and Hi Infidelity on April 6. Last Chance: Park District Spring Classes Begin April 2

Spring classes at the Des Plaines Park District begin April 2, so it’s time to register for many adult, youth and children’s programs including soccer, volleyball, hockey, swimming, softball, aerobics, tennis, archery, how to apply make-up, drawing, skate and bike park trips, early childhood classes and more.
