One person was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge following a crash involving one vehicle that rolled onto its side at Miner and Lee streets after 5 p.m. on Nov. 19, Des Plaines Fire Chief Alan Wax said. Des Plaines police and fire departments responded to the scene. Wax said there were three additional injured people that were not transported to the hospital. Wax said firefighters extricated one person from the rolled-over vehicle. “I do not know the patient’s condition, but the paramedics indicated that the injuries were not life-threatening,” Wax said. Burton said no one else, including the driver of the vehicle, a Chevrolet Malibu, was taken to the hospital. She said the woman was crossing the street at the time of the crash.
