Summer Fling to Fly in Des Plaines, After All

Des Plaines city council approved a plan to contract the same event promoter as last year, amid concerns expressed by aldermen, the Daily Herald reported.

It appears the Summer Fling will return to downtown Des Plaines this year, as city council voted in favor of contracting the same company to run the event as last year, the Daily Herald reported. Look around at how the younger set is bundling up this winter and you will see a lot of hand-crocheted hats, infinity scarves, and gloves.
