Police Release Composite Sketch of Driver in Fatal Hit-and-Run

Suspect in death of teenager described as between 5' 8" and 6 feet with a goatee.

Des Plaines police have released a composite sketch of the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident on the night of Nov. 5 that killed 17-year-old Choice Taylor. The suspect is described as a white male between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall, with a thin/wiry build. He is also described as having a goatee and short brown or black hair. The suspect was driving a red or burgundy semi-tractor with no trailer. It did have a sleeper cab and is described as having an aerodynamic body style. Teen in Hit-and-Run Identified

Police are still looking for driver that struck teen on Algonquin Road Friday.

A Des Plaines teenager killed in a hit-and-run accident that occurred Friday has been identified as Choice Taylor, 17.  He was found lying in the westbound lanes of 906 E. Algonquin Road at approximately 6:20 p.m. No further information about the victim is available at this time. Police are investigating. More details will be made available this afternoon.
