Position Description
The Congressional Representative from Congress' 9th District from Illinois represent towns in the north suburbs of Chicago, from Evanston to Mount Prospect. Recent redistricting changed the make-up of the district to favor Democrats, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Incumbent Jan Schakowsky will face challenger Simon Ribeiro in the March 20 primary, and the winner of that race will face Republican Timothy C. Wolfe in the November general election.
