McDonald's USA First Store Museum, also known as McDonald's #1 Store Museum is a replica of the original McDonald's restaurant built in 1955 under the then-new management of Ray Kroc. The very first McDonald's was actually opened in California in 1940.

Visitors to the museum will see original fry vats, milkshake Multimixers, grills and soda barrels. A crew of male mannequins, donning 1950s uniforms provide a snapshot back in time to the original McDonald's. The museum also houses a collection of vintage ads, photos and a video about McDonald's history.

Museum hours vary, but visitors can peek through the gates at the red and white tiled building beneath the golden arches.
