Apollo School serves students in kindergarten through the sixth grade and is a part of the East Maine School District 63. The green, lush campus hosts a baseball field, a full park and playground area, and a large basketball court with many hoops so everyone can enjoy. At Apollo, teachers and administrators try to use positive reinforcement through their Bulldog Be's program, which encourages students to be respectful, be responsible and be peaceful. Students in kindergarten through the fifth grade can win prizes and privileges by following this code, and sixth graders celebrate as a group. Twice a month, students participate in assemblies that teach lessons in utilizing these tactics in everyday life.
