I was looking for a starting point for my 4 year old, wasn't sure if I should try tumbling or dance. When I found AMA Dancers I was excited that here she could try BOTH in one class and I knew after her first class I had made the right choice. Another huge plus: I found out boys tumble or dance free for their first year so I brought my son along for boys tumbling class that came directly after my daughters class, how convenient!!! The instructors are awesome, AMAzing, and talented. I cannot wait until June to see my kids in thier first recital. My daughter loves the class so much she has a "show" for me every night to show me what she's learned: twinkle twinkle with her babydoll, dancing around a large candycane, and we certainly cannot forget the tap portion of our evening shows. The class rates at AMA are reasonable and there is a good variety of different classes to be taken; tap, dance, tumble, hip hop, music classes, I even think singing lessons? I am sure there is more but I cannot remember. Overall, excellent experience, excellent instructors, excellent results.

My family and I are new to the area and my daughters were interested in ballet - I found AMA on accident but am so glad I did! My 3 year old takes storybook ballet with the studio owner, Ann Marie, and adores the class. And I've never seen anyone with more patience or generosity and genuine excitment for teaching than Ann Marie - I don't know that I could handle a class of 8 wandering, crying, hilarious 2 year olds every week with a smile on my face like she does - and my daughter loves her. My eldest signed up for ballet for the first time, and even though she's 9 there was a class both her age and her experience. Ann Marie even let her try a class for free to see if she liked it before I paid to sign her up - that's not something you see every day! Another nice thing is that music lessons are offered here as well, so my son can take piano while my daughter takes her ballet class - and that saved me 45 minutes of commute time. The teachers are knowledgeable and have an obvious love for their students and what they do, and my kids love coming here each week; that, to me, is enough to give AMA two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

I love AMA Dancers & Co. As a 40 something who danced for many years as a child and wanted to return to dancing for exercise, I couldn't be happier! The teachers are friendly and experienced and treat me just as they would any other student. I'm placed in classes based on my level and not my age which keeps each class challenging. This is my third year at AMA and I hope my body will allow me to continue for many years to come.
