Des Plaines Acknowledges The Center of Concern's 35th Anniversary

Des Plaines Mayor Matthew J. Bogusz and members of the City Council acknowledged The Center of Concern on their 35th Anniversary at a recent City Council Meeting.

Mayor Bogusz presented the proclamation which commends The Center of Concern for serving the many needs of seniors, the disabled and families in need throughout the City.

The proclamation states that The Center of Concern, originally founded by resident Dee Heinrich in 1978, “demonstrates its value to the local community and region by serving thousands of residents with more than twenty services, most without charging fees to the recipient.”
