Being from Des Plaines, hearing about how amazing Via Roma was, my family and I decided to go last week for dinner. When we first got there we had to wait what seemed like forever getting a menu. Then we had to ask for water. When the water came to our table it looked like it was in an old wine bottle, the water we were drinking was warm. My fiance ended up getting the veal with prosciutto, and the plate was drenched in oil and butter... My Italian fiance said it perfectly, "Via Roma's is forgettable". Their customers obviously don't know there is Giuseppe's down the street.
