Angry Birds

When birds attack, personal injury lawyers stand ready to file a lawsuit.

The birds of North America apparently are fed up with being flung at evil pigs in the game “Angry Birds” and are fighting back.

Just recently a man filed a lawsuit against the Mitsubishi Motors North America plant in Normal after geese knocked him down and injured his right shoulder.

The man was working for a contractor at the plant and he claims in his lawsuit that he is in “great pain and anguish, both in mind and body, and will in the future continue to suffer.” The lawsuit claims Mitsubishi failed to protect him from the geese.

In our sue-happy culture, I guess business owners need to be prepared to protect anyone who comes in contact with their companies from every possible contingency. In addition to protecting people from angry birds, perhaps companies should also come up with contingency plans to protect people from alien abductions or protect them from being in the cross fire in the event that the Autobots are battling the Decepticons.

It is not surprising this lawsuit was filed in McLean County, the nation’s eighth-worst “Judicial Hellhole.” It is proof positive that if you build a “Judicial Hellhole” outrageous lawsuits are sure to follow.

I believe the aldermen are Denise Rodd south of Dempster and Dick Sayad north. Contact them.Read More Although I do not live in Rodd's ward (Im in the 8th) I am somehow on her mailing list and she keeps wanting to know what she can do for me. Here is something.

I suggest contacting the alderman to raise the profile of what these streets need.
