Algonquin Road Closed in Des Plaines Through Oct. 9
Algonquin Road to be closed through Oct. 9.

The Des Plaines Public Works & Engineering Department has announced that Algonquin Road, from Wolf Road to Lee Street, will be closed to through traffic for the installation of a new storm sewer from Monday morning, Oct. 7, 2013, to completion on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013. Local traffic only will be allowed, however the road will be completely closed at Algonquin Road and Southeast Place.
Motorists are advised to use caution when driving in the area and to obey the posted detour route to Oakton Street.
