Maine West, Maine East Wrestlers to Compete at Schaumburg Saturday
The teams will take on Addison Trail, Conant, Elk Grove, Hoffman Estates, Lake Park, Schaumburg and Streamwood.
The Maine East and Maine West High School wrestling squads will compete in a very important meet at Schaumburg on Saturday, Feb. 2. The top three individuals will advance into sectionals at Maine East, and the team champion will head to the Lake Park dual-team sectional, the Daily Herald reports. The high schools will face off against Addison Trail, Conant, Elk Grove, Hoffman Estates, Lake Park, Schaumburg and Streamwood.

The state individual tournament will be held Feb. 14-16 in Champaign, while the dual-team state tournament is scheduled for Feb. 23 in Bloomington.
The Feb. 2 meet starts at 9 a.m.
