Winter Wonderland Trip to Starved Rock, Illinois

Hiking & Cross Country Skiing- Eagle Watching- Birds of Prey Program

Enjoy fascinating programs on the Bald Eagle and Illinois Birds of Prey, presented by the Illinois Audubon Society, followed by a delightful brunch at Starved Rock State Park Lodge. In the afternoon, ski the trails at Mattiessen State Park or hike the trails at  Starved Rock State Park. Explore winter snowscapes and enjoy the peaceful beauty of frozen waterfalls that transform these parks in to a true winter wonderland! Brunch is included. Ski rentals are available. Trip departs from and returns to Prairie Lakes Community Center.

Children age 12 and older are always welcome when accompanied by a guardian.
