Hawthorn Hollow is a little known gem of Kenosha County, Wisconsin. It was purchased in 1935 by two Racine teachers to develop as a Nature Preserve. Hawthorn Hollow boasts restored prairie, perennial gardens, a butterfly garden and a dwarf conifer collection. Enjoy a walk through the gardens and two miles of nature trails that wind through the woods of the Pike River Valley. Then, it’s all aboard the Brew City Queen for an unforgettable and exciting lunch cruise down the Milwaukee River and onto Lake Michigan. Trip includes: Nature Sanctuary, boat cruise and lunch. Trip departs from and returns to the Lake Park Clubhouse.
