Singers Wanted
Experienced singers are invited to come learn more about the Northwest Choral Society at an event in Des Plaines this month.
The Northwest Choral Society is hosting a meet and greet next week in Des Plaines as it looks for new singers, the Chicago Tribune reports. The event will take place from 7 to 9 p.m., August 20, at at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 1095 Thacker St. (between Margaret St. and Jeannette St.), Des Plaines.
The group, which is gearing up for its 2013-14 concert season, are looking for singers at least 17 years old, with with previous four-part choral experience.
