Duckmann: off Touhy. The dinners are great, and it’s BYOB. Last time I was there I had salmon with risotto; it was awesome.

Patch: What is one of your favorite things to do in Des Plaines?
Duckmann: Watch my sons and nephew in sporting events. James and Crosley also play hockey and golf, and Geoff is in the marching band.
Patch: What is one thing you know about Des Plaines that others may not?
Duckmann: You can sail a sailboat in Des Plaines — on Lake Opeka, which I didn’t know when I moved here. I haven’t done it yet, but I would like to. It sounds like a good time.
