Hazing Report: District 207 Staff Feeling "Overwhelmed"

A report released by Community Matters shows teachers aren't as available to monitor for bullying and hazing, the Chicago Tribune reports.

A report issued on the climate of bullying, hazing and harassment at the district reveals that staff members are feeling “overwhelmed” to perform at work, and are less available to monitor students during lunch and in the hallways where bullying typically occurs, the newspaper reports. The report also showed that cyber bullying, or harassment by computers and phones, is also on the rise, the newspaper reports.
