Fifth Maine West High School Student Alleges Hazing

A new lawsuit was filed in the ongoing Maine West High School hazing scandal this week.

A fifth Maine West student has filed a lawsuit alleging that he suffered hazing and abuse at the high school, NBC-5 reported. Video of NBC 5's report is attached to this post.

Previously, four families sued school District 207 alleging hazing and abuse at the school. Three of those cases involved soccer players and one involved a baseball player.

Former boys varsity soccer coach Michael Divincenzo already faces criminal charges in the case. Divincenzo was charged with battery, hazing and failure to report abuse.
