Union Files Complaint Against Des Plaines Rivers Casino

A hospitality union has filed a complaint with the National Labor Relations Board alleging unfair labor practices by Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The newspaper reported that a Chicago-base hospitality union has been trying to unionize employees at the casino. The complaint alleges that the casino has used unfair practices – such as threats of lost benefits – in an effort to stop the unionizing attempts.
