This will be a good opportunity to see what Susan Sweeney actually stands for, what her real experience is and why she believes she merits being our elected official. I'm a Republican in the district who is tired of her mean spirited campaign tactics. She just trashed State Rep Mulligan and is now trashing Mayor Marty Moylan. Even if she doesn't agree with them on the issues, she should keep it at the issues - not make up lies. Let's remember, folks like Mulligan and Moylan have been involved in the community and have helped many people. They deserve some respect. Keep in mind, Susan Sweeney doesn't even live in the district, was not and still isn't supported by elected Republicans in the district and gets all of her money from downstate Tea Party groups. She has no leadership experience, has not been involved with any local issues and spends all her campaign time complaining, whining and blaming things on the wrong people. For example, the Tea Party spent hundreds of thousands of dollars for mailers blaming Moylan for increasing water rates. Does Sweeney think we, the voters, are that dumb? We know the CIty of Des Plaines doesn't charge for water. That's the City of Chicago who increases rates. With the help of the Tea Party downstate, she will snake her way and lie to get to Springfield - and no one talks about the fact that she doesn't even live in the district.
