Numerous Des Plaines Police Officers Could Be Suspended

Journal and Topics Newspapers reported 14-16 police officers could face discipline following an investigation into information provided for grant funding.

Between 14 and 16 Des Plaines police officers could face suspensions in connection with an investigation into information provided for grant funding for overtime pay, Journal and Topics Newspapers reported.

One Des Plaines police department employee may be asked to resign, and the police commander responsible for overseeing grant program retired in April 2012.
