North Elementary Students Visit Des Plaines City Hall

Information submitted by the city of Des Plaines.

Twenty-five  North Elementary School Third Graders from Ms. Regina Gursky’s Class  visited Des Plaines Mayor Matthew J. Bogusz’ City Hall Office this week as an end- of- the- year field trip, a press release from the city states.

While visiting, the students had many questions for the Mayor, including inquiries about his age, what is Rivers Casino? and-  whether the Mayor lived in a mansion?

Mayor Bogusz, in turn, quizzed students with inquiries and information concerning the voting age, why it’s important to vote, and the paramedics as a branch of government service in the community.  Cookies provided rewards for correct answers prior to students stopping by the Police Department for a short visit.
