Moylan Announces Bid for State Rep.
Makes announcement at suit maker Hart Schaffner & Marx.
At , a suit maker in Des Plaines, Mayor Martin Moylan announced Tuesday he will run in the March Democratic primary for the new 55th District Illinois House seat, the Daily Herald reported.
If he wins Moylan would take office in January 2013, a few months before his mayoral term ends in April 2013. Moylan said he would not step down from his post early.
