Des Plaines Alderman Mike Charewicz invites members of the 8th Ward to attend his Ward Meeting, 7 – 8:30 PM, Thursday, November 3, 2011, in the St. Zachary School Gym, 567 W. Algonquin Road.
Attendees are requested to park at Friendship Park, 395 W. Algonquin Road, and walk to the side entrance of the gymnasium. Volunteers will be helping direct traffic, as there is a church service that evening. Director of Public Works and Engineering Timothy Oakley and representatives of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District will be available to discuss flooding issues. The Sanitary Sewer Flow Monitoring Draft Report will also be addressed. There will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions.
