Des Plaines May Renegotiate Casino Contract If Gaming Expands

Bill passes House and Senate, waits on Quinn.

Des Plaines officials said they will try to renegotiate their casino contract if Gov. Pat Quinn passes the gaming expansion bill, according to an article at Triblocal.com.

The bill, which passed in both the state Senate and House Tuesday, would allow for 1,200 slot machines at Arlington Park, five additional casinos in the state and slot machines at both O'Hare and Midway International Airports. Des Plaines Mayor Martin Moylan says he plans to meet with Quinn and discuss the contract.
