Juan Cortez, of Des Plaines, was honored for his 23 years of service at at the City Council meeting Monday. Mayor Martin Moylan presented him with the “Million Miler” award.
Cortez drives bus routes throughout Des Plaines and has not had an accident in more than 12 years.
