If you live in the third ward in Des Plaines, 3rdward.org is a website that you should know about.

Created by Alderman Matt Bogusz, 3rdward.org is an interactive website dedicated to cutting the red tape that can sometimes interfere in government and resident relationships. 

On 3rdward.org residents will find regular updates concerning ward issues, city council meetings and the quarterly newsletter. As a matter of fact residents can find just about anything they need to know about their ward on the site. Here are some of the features:

• The Discussion page - Residents can use this forum to post topics that concern them in their ward. Posts will be addressed by Bogusz as well as other residents. Bogusz also uses this forum to voice his own concerns and seek resident input.
• Schedule a meeting - Use this convenient calendar tool to schedule meetings. Users will receive a confirmation email after scheduling. This page also provides a link where residents can send Bogusz direct messages.
• Live chat - Have a question that you feel needs addressing right away? Now you can chat live with Bogusz using this feature without having to download any additional software.
