Vandalized Limos, $1,300 Car Stereo, Speakers Stolen, More in Wednesday Blotter

The following arrest information was supplied by the Des Plaines Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Des Plaines Police Department provided the following reports.

Burglary to Vehicle

Police stated the driver’s side window of a vehicle parked in a parking lot on the 600 block of River Road was smashed, and a radar detector was removed from inside, sometime between 4:30 p.m. and 4:52 p.m. on Nov. 20. Property loss was estimated at $500.

Three vehicles were reported damaged at M&M Limo Service, 2720 S. River Road, sometime between 5 a.m. on Nov. 18 and 1 p.m. on Nov. 19. Property loss was estimated at $500.

Burglary to Vehicle

A Pioneer brand in-dash stereo and television and two 12-inch Diamond brand audio speakers were reported stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1900 block of S. Illinois Street sometime between noon on Nov. 16 and noon on Nov. 17.

A screwdriver, believed to have been left behind by the offender, was recovered from the vehicle by police. Property loss was estimated at $1,300.
