Tuesday Blotter: Bottle of Liquor Stolen, Cash Stolen at Laundromat, More

Criminal Damage to Property, Disorderly Conduct

Katrina A. Serrano, 26, of Des Plaines, was charged with criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct after police stated she knocked over a motorcycle in a parking lot, and, according to witnesses, yelled and “pounded” on other nearby vehicles. Serrano was given a court date of July 6 at Skokie courthouse.

Theft

Police stated $500 in cash and two checks were removed from a wallet at a Laundromat that a customer forgot on one of the machines sometime between 11:30 a.m. on May 26 and 9 a.m. on May 27.

Attempted Burglary

Police reported the electric meter was disconnected, and a basement window was broken at a residence in the 1100 block of E. Everett Lane at approximately 12:50 a.m. on May 29. Nothing appeared missing from the property, and property loss was estimated at $300.

Theft

Robert J. Lambert, 19, of Des Plaines, was charged with theft after police reported he attempted to leave Dominick’s, 1555 S. Lee St., without paying for a bottle of Bombay Sapphire liquor between 4:47 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. on May 29. Property loss was estimated at $29.99.
