Trio Stopped for Pickpocketing Under Investigation in 7 Suburbs

The incident began after a woman had her wallet stolen from a Des Plaines restaurant.

A Chicago man who was charged with theft after police say a woman identified him as the man who stole her wallet from a Des Plaines restaurant is also being investigated for thefts in seven other suburbs, according to an article in the Northbrook Star.

Tyrell L. Frazier, 50, was arrested after the car he was driving in was stopped by police, the article says. Frazier, as well as the other two people in the car, were all taken into custody and police learned that all three are being investigated for thefts in Northbrook, Glenview, Niles, Morton Grove, Norridge, Park Ridge, and Arlington Heights. The other two people, who were not named, are also wanted in Glenview and Northbrook for unlawful use of credit cards.
