Battery
Police responded to a report of a fight at the Metra train depot, 1501 Miner St., at 7:17 p.m. on June 29.

Donald John Davidson, 30, of Harvard, was charged with battery after police stated he punched a Metra employee in the eye while the employee was attempting to escort him off the train. According to the report, while wrestling with him, Davidson kicked the employee in the chest with both feet.
Davidson was given a court date of July 27 at Skokie courthouse.

Residential Burglary
The garage of a residence in the 400 block of Courtesy Lane was burglarized sometime between 9 p.m. on June 29 and 7 a.m. on June 30. Police stated a red Toro lawnmower, blue and purple Schwinn bicycle and a set of golf clubs were reported missing. The backdoor to the garage was unlocked, and the garage door was slightly open at the time of the incident. Property loss was estimated at $949.95.

A 7.5-foot burgundy canvass patio umbrella was reported stolen at a residence in the 1300 block of S. Margret Street sometime between 7 p.m. on June 30 and 4 p.m. on July 1. Property loss was estimated at $100.
