Burglary to vehicle
Aug. 10: An unknown offender broke the window of a vehicle and took assorted tools while it was parked on the 2100 block of South Chestnut Street.

Aug. 10: A woman reported that the driver's side window of her vehicle had been smashed and various papers taken from the glove compartment while it was parked on the 1300 block of East Fargo Avenue.
Aug. 10: A window was smashed and a GPS stolen from a vehicle while it was parked on the 2100 block of Chestnut Street.

Possession of open alcohol
Aug. 9: Albert Campbell, 51, and Veronica Gorlicki, 38, who are both homeless and William Spelz, 51, of the 1300 block of East Rand Road were charged with possession of open alcohol after police received complaints about three subjects drinking in an alleyway on the 200 block of South River Road.
Retail theft
Aug. 9: Twenty bottles of Advil, valued at $359.80, were stolen from Walgreens, 17 W. Golf Road.
