Skokie Man to Undergo Anger Management after Firing Gun at Morton Grove Mosque

David Conrad was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property, the Chicago Tribune reported.

The man who allegedly fired on a Morton Grove mosque Friday night with an air pellet gun attended a bond hearing today and was ordered to undergo an anger managment assessment, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Gary Conrad, 51, also was ordered by Judge Margeurite Quinn to avoid contact with members of the Muslim Education Center, as well as the property located next door to his home, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Conrad was charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and criminal damage to property.

Bond for Conrad was set at $45,000, the Chicago Tribune reported. In addition to the felony charges filed Saturday, Conrad faces a misdemeanor charge for owning a firearm without a Firearm Owner's Identification, or FOID, card.

Judge Quinn ordered Conrad, if released from jail, to wear an electronic monitoring device during the evenings to prevent him from disrupting Ramadan services, the Chicago Tribune reported.
