The Gas Thief
On Sept. 9 at 9:38 a.m. an employee at a Speedway gas station 885 E. Touhy Ave. reported that a blond woman driving a gold, four-door, Chevrolet Impala pumped 5.345 gallons of gasoline into her vehicle and left without paying $15.01, despite alert from the employee. The employee believes that this woman has pumped small amounts of gas without paying on previous occasions but has never reported the incidents. There have been numerous contacts associated with the vehicles's registration from Sept. 1 to the date of the incident according to reports.
