Police Increase Enforcement At Railroad Crossings
June 9 is International Level Crossing Awareness Day.
Be extra careful crossing those railroad tracks today. Police are heightening enforcement at rail crossings and ticketing drivers and pedestrians who ignore rail signals, according to Chicagobreakingnews.com.
In honor of International Level Crossing Awareness Day, security will be tightened in Des Plaines, Bensenville, Mount Prospect, and Arlington Heights, among other cities.
