New Details Emerge in Des Plaines Motorcycle Crash

A witness has revealed new information on the case to the Journal & Topics newspaper.

An investigation is still ongoing into a Des Plaines motorcycle crash that happened earlier this month, the Journal & Topics reports. 

On July 9, the driver of a motorcycle lost control on the 1500 block of East Oakton Street and flipped under an SUV. The man was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital for minor injuries. 

The Journal & Topics reports new details on the incident. A witness tells the newspaper the rider of the motorcycle was going more than 80 miles per hour when he spotted a police SUV and slammed on the brakes, causing the accident. The driver has not yet been charged.
