Monday Blotter: Woman Robbed by Three Men, More

Burglary to Vehicle

A Nuvi Garmin GPS device, model 2460 LMT, and a Costco rebate check valued at $45 were stolen from a vehicle parked in a parking lot in the 1600 block of Oakwood Avenue sometime between Aug. 16 and Aug. 17, police stated. Property loss was estimated at $200.

Burglary to Vehicle

A GPS device and loose change were stolen from a vehicle parked on the 1900 block of E. Touhy Avenue sometime between 6:05 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Aug. 31. The Garmin GPS device was model number 1390LMT, and property loss was estimated at $180.

Robbery

A woman was robbed on the 300 block of Beau Drive at approximately 9:15 p.m. on Sept. 1. Police stated when the woman exited her vehicle, a black male subject walked up behind her and said, “Give me the bag, keep quiet and you’ll be cool.”

The woman handed the man the bag, he went through it and removed a sealed Fifth Third Bank envelope containing $950 in cash. He then threw the bag on the ground in front of the woman, spilling its contents on the street.

The man then said to the woman, according to the report, “Don’t say anything; I know where you live.” He then left the scene with what was believed to be two other male subjects, police stated.

Property loss was estimated at $950.
