Huntley Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, Thefts, Reported

Huntley police also received reports of car burglaries.


Huntley police released reports from Oct. 15 to Oct. 20:

Rose A. O’Malley, 57, of 11721 Woodcreek #F, Huntley, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery on Oct.1 5, police said.

A 17-year-old Algonquin woman was charged with disorderly conduct after an altercation at Huntley High School, 13719 Harmony Road on Oct. 15, reports stated. The juvenile was released with a notice to appear in McHenry County court on November 19.

Someone stole a laptop computer from a businesses in the 12300 block of Route 47 on Oct. 15, police said.

Beer bottles were thrown at a residence in the 10800 block of Great Plaines on Oct. 16, police said.

Joshua E. Mullaly, 19, of 10292 Somerset Lane, Huntley was charged with criminal damage to property on Oct. 17, according to reports.

A residential burglary report was taken in the 12000 block of Oakcrest Drive on Oct. 17, police said.

Police took a report of gas stolen from a parked vehicle in the 11800 block of Route 47 on Oct. 18.

A Huntley High School student reported that his cell phone was stolen from a locker room at the school on Oct. 18, police said. The student stated he left the phone unattended, when he return the phone was gone, according to reports.

Police said someone smashed a passenger side window of a car in a business parking lot in the 10400 block of Algonquin Road then took a purse on Oct. 18.

A red and silver mongoose bicycle was stolen from an open garage between 3 and 5 p.m. in the 11500 block of Douglas Ave. on Oct. 20, police said.


All individuals listed as arrested or charged with a crime in this press release are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
