Friday Blotter: Kindle Stolen, Trespassing at Rivers Casino, More

Theft
Police stated a black Kindle Fire with a black case and light blue strap was removed from a bag at Friendship Park Conservatory, 395 W. Algonquin Road, sometime between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on June 9. Property loss was estimated at $240.

George A. Grygo, age unknown, of Wood Dale, was issued a citation for criminal trespass to property at Rivers Casino, 3000 S. River Road, after he was found to be a member of the self-exclusionary list between 1:05 a.m. and 1:20 a.m. on June 12.
The Illinois Gaming Board began the Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program for Problem Gamblers in 2002, according to the Illinois Gaming Board’s website. It allows people who are problem gamblers to self-exclude themselves from Illinois casinos for a minimum of five years.
Criminal Trespass to Property
Jung H. Park, 40, of Glenview, was issued a citation for criminal trespass to property at Rivers Casino, 3000 S. Rivers Road, at 1:55 a.m. on June 12. Casino security told police Park was involved in an incident at the casino on Dec. 25, 2011 that resulted in Park being “evicted” from the casino, and not allowed back.
Park told police he did not know he was not allowed back to the casino.
