Criminal Damage to Vehicle
Police responded to a vandalism report at Algonquin Middle School, 767 Algonquin Road, at 4:15 p.m. on April 1. According to the report, sometime between 3 p.m. on March 30 and 4:15 p.m. on April 1, an unknown offender broke the side window of a van owned by District 62 that was parked in the south parking lot. The property loss was estimated at $500.

Police were dispatched for a theft report in the 1300 block of S. Carol Lane at 1 p.m. on March 30. According to the report, sometime between 2 p.m. on March 29 and 1 p.m. on March 30, an unknown offender removed a three-foot cement statue of a boy from in front of a garage at the residence. The property loss was estimated at $1,000.
Minor in Casino
Police responded to a report of a minor at Rivers Casino, 3000 S. River Road, at 7:38 p.m. on April 1. According to the report, Angel J. Munguia, 20, of Oak Lawn, presented his cousin’s driver’s license to enter the casino. Munguia was issued a citation for minor in the casino and was escorted off the property.
